At the meeting, the establishment of the hot-rolled steel sheet pile application technology promotion working group was announced, and the working group charter, working group composition and recent work plan were voted through. Jinxi Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was elected as the first chairman unit of the hot-rolled steel sheet pile application technology promotion working group. The composition of the expert group and the secretariat were also approved at the meeting. The secretariat of the working group is located in the Metallurgical Science and Technology Development Center.

At the same time as the meeting, the first hot-rolled steel sheet pile application technology seminar was held. The experts at the meeting gave 9 special reports and conducted in-depth exchanges on the research and development, production, application, standards, design and installation of steel sheet piles. This part of the meeting was chaired by Han Yakun, chairman of the working group.
